Tetanus Hyperimmune Globulin (Human) Indications: Tetanus Hyperimmune Globulin is indicated for prophylaxis against tetanus following injury in patients whose immunization is incomplete or uncertain. It is also indicated, although evidence of effectiveness is limited, in the regimen of treatment of active cases of tetanus. The plasma used in the manufacturing of Tetanus Hyperimmune Globulin has been tested is B Virus (HBV) and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), antibodies for HCV, antibodies for HIV-1 & HIV-2, antibodies for Human T-Lymphotropic Virus (HTLV) and antibodies for Syphilis. | |||||||||||
