Rabies Hyperimmune Globulin (Human)

Indications: Rabies Hyperimmune Globulin is used along with rabies vaccine as post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent infection caused by rabies virus in persons suspected of exposure to rabies and has never before received the rabies vaccine or has a confirmed inadequate rabies antibody titer in the body. Rabies Hyperimmune Globulin should be administered as promptly as possible after exposure along with the first dose of vaccine.

The plasma used in the manufacturing of Rabies Hyperimmune Globulin has been tested and found negative for Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1), Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), antibodies for HCV, antibodies for HIV-1 & HIV-2, antibodies for Human T-Lymphotropic Virus (HTLV) and antibodies for Syphilis.
