Immune Globulin Intravenous belongs to a group of medicines known as immunizing agents. Immune Globulin is used to prevent or treat some illnesses that can occur when your body does not have enough of its own immunity to prevent those diseases. Immune Globulin is indicated in the following situations:

  - Primary Immunodeficiency Disease

 - Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP)

 - Kawasaki Disease

 - Bone Marrow Transplantation

 - B-cell Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

 - Pediatric HIV Infection
